Duke TIP eligibility letters will go home in the fall. Parents should follow the directions for registration. Please keep in mind, that if your child is already registered with Duke TIP, I did not send home an eligibility letter.

Duke TIP is a nonprofit organization devoted to meeting the academic and social needs of gifted students. The 4th–6th Grade Talent Search is the entry point for TIP benefits that can motivate gifted students to realize their full potential.
Duke TIP is not affiliated with CMS, however information can be accessed through the Duke TIP website. Students with qualifying scores, according to the Duke TIP requirements, may enroll online.

- Advice for parents and educators on how to nurture academic talent, including Research Digestand our online Opportunity Guide.
- Online activities like advanced writing, math, science, and social studies lessons plus a book club that gives students a chance to connect with peers who share their love of reading.
- Customized publications, including a newsletter just for 4th–6th Grade Talent Search participants.
- A writing contest that awards monetary prizes plus other opportunities for publication.
- Recognition for academic achievement such as certificates of achievement, guidance for schools recognizing TIP participants, and special ceremonies.
- Educational resources, including face-to-face programs for intense but fun academic exploration, discounts on Rosetta Stone Foundations® , and discounts on independent learning products.
