Mathapalooza
Mathapalooza is a competition held annually for CMS 3rd graders in conjunction with the Talent Development department. Students work independently and in teams to complete fun math challenges. Students also complete hands-on obstacles that require their brainpower, team work, and math skills to win!

We will be practicing solving problems both as a team and individually so that students are prepared for the competition. Practice outside of school will not be necessary.
Competition Day
Students must wear their Mathapalooza T-Shirt to the competition!
Checkin: 8:30-9:00 Students must remain at the competition the entire day.
Closing session/awards: 12:30-1:00 Parents will check out their students from Mrs. Caldwell after awards are announced.

9:20-10:00 Hands On Challenge
10:10-10:55 Problem Solving Challenge
11:05-11:45 Individual Challenge
11:55-12:35 Team Building Challenge
Students will be provided a peanut free snack and a Capri Sun. Students with other allergies are allowed to bring their own snack, but it must not have peanuts.
Parents may want to carpool to the school. Parents do not stay during the competition.
